Government 2.0 Conference in Oklahoma City
One of the upcoming events that I look forward to attending is the Government 2.0 Conference being held at the Cox Convention Center May 5-6. It is especially exciting that this event is taking place in Oklahoma City because what may be the nation's first state-level codification (SB 1759) of a comprehensive government 2.0 program is working its way right now through the legislative process and could become law later this year. I look forward to updating attendees about this proposal and greatly anticipate listening to the input of how all levels of government can use technology to allow developers to empower citizens in ways that have not been possible until now.
